1. History

Write the essay on your chosen World War 11 hero/heroine as explained in class and prepare for your presentation in class. Reminder for Myriam and Cameron: start researching your second subject, the French Resistance which you’ll prepare for a joint presentation.

2. Literature

i) Shakespeare/Richard 11
Revise for a comprehension and vocabulary test on pages 80 to 88. Written test on 18th March.
Learn your lines for an oral test on 19th March (N.B. this time both diction and memorization will be graded) as follows: page 49 lines 31 to 39: Alexander, John-John, Gabriel and Mike. Page 65, lines 14 to 27: Cameron, Myriam, Mohammed, Ricky and Rofaida. A student may prepare both extracts and will be graded accordingly.
ii) Oscar Wilde/ The Importance of Being Earnest
Finish reading the play and prepare for a comprehension test (on 21st March) about the lives of the main characters. View one of the many film versions of the play.
